Mr. Annamalai is a Founder and CEO of Planvisage Pte. Ltd. He has led Planvisage from startup to profitability and positive cash flows in less than two years. Mr. Annamalai provides overall direction, strategy and leadership for Planvisage. In addition Mr. Annamalai is leading the Professional Services Practice and overseeing all finance and administrative functions as well.
Prior to founding Planvisage, Mr. Annamalai was the Worldwide Program Director for a multi-million dollar implementation of Supply Chain Solutions for a Fortune 2000 companies. Mr. Annamalai has over 18 years of operations, product development and consulting experience.
He has six years of strategic consulting experience and has led Professional Services Teams for i2 Technologies, a leading provider of Supply Chain Management solutions, in a multitude of Regional and International projects. The teams consisted of Technical and Business Consultants from varied cultural backgrounds and experiences. Mr. Annamalai, with his unique background, is able to support clients with functional, technical and strategic projects.
Prior to i2 Technologies, Mr. Annamalai worked with a leading turnaround firm in the US. Amongst his major projects was a US$1 Billion distributor of industrial gases, where he helped optimize the distribution network of 1200 stores and 3000 trucks as well as develop a national account program and pricing strategies. The project resulted in a total savings of US$42 million in the first full year.
Mr. Annamalai has 12 years of Product Development experience prior to his consulting experience. He led Product Development teams from the concept phase to delivery of the product. Mr. Annamalai holds an MBA from Bentley College in Waltham, Massachusetts and Bachelors in Electrical and Computer Engineering from Clarkson University in Potsdam, New York.
Anand Nahar, President, Operations
Anand Nahar holds an MS degree in Industrial Engineering from Georgia Institute of Technology and B.Tech in Textile Technology from PSG College of Technology, India. Prior to founding Planvisage, he worked as a Solution Architect for i2 Technologies.
He has more than five years of professional experience in the Supply Chain Management (SCM) area both from consulting and development perspectives. Currently, he heads the Indian Operations and looks after both development and marketing. He was the architect of a low cost SCM solution for small to medium scale enterprise. This product has been well received internationally and has been featured in the Microsoft magazine in Singapore.
