Managing Production Bottlenecks @ Kumaran Fishnets
Abstract: Kumaran Fishnets is one of India's leading manufacturers of nylon fishing nets to India and neighbouring regions. But the demand for their products is seasonal  and human knitting of nets, which is a critical part of their production process, is an extremely slow bottleneck. This case study explores how Planvisage and Kumaran applied more efficient planning to reduce the effects of a bottleneck.
